The highlight of the jobs has to be the 10 x 2 Video Wall on the Trelleborg Stand. This was our first trip to Drupa, and we look forward to a return visit in 2016. As we've all been working so hard this year, we've decided to treat ourselves to a bit of a break, so to take advantage of the long weekend (Friday and Monday being public holidays here in the UK), we're going to be shutting up shop at 1pm on Thursday 5th April, and will reopen at 9am on Tuesday 10th April. In response to customer demand for large screen sizes, we’ve just signed off on our first order for LED TVs at 60”, 70” and 80” to put into our hire stocks. All three screen sizes are “Full HD 1080p” and have connections for PC (VGA), Video (HDMI) and a USB port for movie, photo and music playback. Because the screens are LED based, this gives them a weight advantage compared to some of the larger screened plasmas. The 80” tips the scales at just 60kg and the 70” at just 40kg, putting them at a lighter weight than some 60” plasmas. Nice and easy for wall mounting! The 60” LED TVs are available immediately, and the 70” and 80” screens should be available mid to late May. For competitive pricing, please get in touch. Our team has just returned from ITB in Berlin where our new Samsung UE46a Video Wall put in its' first appearance on the Canada Tourism Commission stand. Supplied in 3 x 3 configuration, the wall was driven by a simple laptop with HDMI output and a blu-ray drive. The photos below were taken by the on-site guys using their iPhone.
Our Samsung Video Wall will next be in service at the forthcoming Wire + Tube exhibition in Dusseldorf, 26th - 30th March, so it's really starting to earn its keep! Once again our team have been on site in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress. Over four days we installed over 100 screens, along with a pile of computers, Wi-Fi access points and furniture on over 30 stands spread far and wide across the Fira Montjuic. Of course, exhibition set ups are always hard work, but it's always nice to have a break - we caught one of our customers having a sneaky nap at the back of Hall 7 at the end of the first day of the show.
