We've just taken delivery of a new batch of 65" touch screens. Here's Mark giving himself a hernia testing one in advance of dropping it off at a client for testing prior to installation at Hotelympia

The Press Red team were in Paris last week working on a nice little project with our friends from Tamooz and Agentura Evka. The stand for Galderma featured a 3 x 2 video wall, and LED TVs at 50", 80" and 90". The bigger TV sizes are definitely the way to go!
We've just returned from another busy BETT Show at ExCel London. 2014 was one of the busiest BETT Shows for us in recent years. (In fact is was such a busy show we didn't get the chance to take photos of all the jobs we had at the show!).
Many thanks to all our customers for their business at BETT 2014
The Autumn Exhibition season is drawing to a close, and it gives us time to reflect on what we've been up to in a little over two months, providing audio-visual equipment and support for clients across Europe. Here's a small taste of what we've been up to....
We're now at the point where we physically can't take any more bookings for the following shows:
DSEi, RWM, The Energy Event and IBC. Unfortunately, we've had to take this decision as we're getting short on kit, and on bodies, and to take any more bookings would compromise our service levels to those who have already booked.
We do still have some equipment left for shows opening from the 16th September onwards, and good availability for shows in the last week of September, and into October, so if you need any equipment for your projects at these shows, please get in touch
Thanks to our friends at ADB Exhibitions, Agentura Evka and TSP Showbusiness, we were rather busy with video walls and screens at the recent Bauma exhibition in Munich.....
We have now started taking rental bookings for Mobile World Congress in Barcelona from the 25th - 28th February 2013.
Mobile World Congress is one of the biggest shows of the year, and we are expecting the 2013 event to be our busiest ever, judging by the quotes and orders we have recently seen.
We have now produced our short form catalogue/order form for Mobile World Congress, which is now available for download in three versions: with GB£ pricing here, with Euro pricing here and with US$ pricing here
If you're looking for a product that's not in the short form catalogue, please get in touch
As a result of the iPad becoming more and more popular, we have been getting requests from customers wanting to rent touch screens that "work like an iPad". After much head scratching, we found the Omnitapps software which allows material to be scrolled, "just like an iPad" (see video below)
Omnitapps software in now available for rental with our touch screens, and is supplied pre-installed on an accompanying PC at additional cost. For more information about Omnitapps software, please get in touch
We have just introduced the Hetec V-Switch Quad to our rental stocks
The V-Switch quad simultaneously displays the video signals from four analog or digital computers or video sources (up to 1920 x 1200 resolution) on a single screen. In addition, these computers can be controlled with just one keyboard and mouse or a single touch screen. V-Switch quad is a Quad-Video Multiviewer and a KVM switch in one device.
With its various viewing modes, the V-Switch quad has a number of features that make it suitable for use as a video wall controller:
In Quad mode, the multiviewer splits the screen into four fields of equal size. Each field displays the entire screen content of a video source or computer.
When the PiP (Picture in Picture) function is activated, up to all three other video sources are displayed on the right-hand side of the full-screen image as thumbnails, allowing them to be monitored simultaneously. Size, position and selection of these thumbnails are customizable. In the new Triple Tile mode, the Multi-Window Video-Processor automatically resizes the active channel and the PiPs to display all channels as large as possible without overlap
In Dual mode, the Multi-Viewer displays the left halves of the fullscreen images from two video sources side by side at full size. This allows e.g. to read even small written text in full resolution and brilliant quality in each of the left halves.
In Fullscreen mode, one of the four video sources is shown at full screen size and maximum resolution.
Full technical details of the V-Switch Quad can be downloaded here (.pdf 670kb)
The V-Switch Quad is available for hire now, For more information, please get in touch
